Bridget Girard, along with her husband Mike has spent the past 3 decades living in Bowmanville.

Bridget has worked tirelessly for over 30 years in education, serving students and their families in the Bowmanville-Oshawa North riding. She’s been a teacher in both the elementary and secondary school systems, but has spent the past 12 years as a Principal.

Bridget has always had a passion for Canada, politics, and government. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Canadian Studies and History at the University of Toronto. She has volunteered on many campaigns, both federal and provincial since her youth. Bridget and Mike are the proud parents to three wonderful adult daughters.

The Bowmanville Oshawa-North riding is Bridget’s home. She is putting forth her name as your Liberal candidate in the next federal election. She wants to bring a strong voice of the residents of this great community to Ottawa.
